			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p class="style1">I will be teaching a screenprinting with Monotype workshop at Atelier Meridian on Sunday, March 27 from 10am - 5pm.</p>
<p class="style1">In this class you will learn the basics of photo screenprinting by printing on paper and  exploring the use of mixed media. We can also print on fabric, so feel  free to bring your own T-shirts! Any image or drawing on mylar can be  used, or copy some clip art. Students will experiment with color by  combining monotype elments with their screen prints, resulting in unique  monoprints. All inks will be water based and non-toxic.  The workshop fee of $125* plus $15 supply fee, includes ink,  newsprint and two sheets of proofing paper. Additional paper available  at cost.</p>

Embroidery to me is like drawing but onto cloth instead of paper.  During the course of the embroidery, the addition of circles pushed the cloth up and out, like little volcanoes.</p>
